We are a growing construction company seeking a dependable and motivated Carpenter to support commercial construction projects. This role is essential to delivering high-quality work in the field and requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and productivity.
The Carpenter will perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, drywall, installation work, material handling, and reading basic construction drawings. Depending on experience, this role may also include supporting or leading crew members, maintaining productivity goals, and assisting with daily jobsite coordination.

Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial carpentry work including framing, drywall, insulation, doors, windows, and hardware installation.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal studs, drywall, plastic, and other materials.
- Read and interpret basic construction drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with jobsite setup, material handling, organization, and cleanup.
- Move materials, tools, and equipment safely throughout the jobsite.
- Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Identify and report safety hazards immediately.
- Support productivity goals and complete tasks on schedule.
- Assist, guide, or lead crew members depending on experience level.
- Communicate daily progress and jobsite needs to supervisors.
- Assist multiple trades as needed to support project completion.
- Maintain attendance, punctuality, and professionalism at all times.
- Perform all other duties as required or assigned by management and project needs.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of carpentry or construction experience required
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Basic ability to read and understand construction drawings preferred.
- Knowledge of framing, drywall, insulation, and general construction practices.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and improve.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
- Understanding of jobsite safety practices.
- Leadership or crew experience is a plus but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the day.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull construction materials and equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, with heavier lifting performed with assistance or team lifting when required.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
- Exposure to dust, noise, and active construction environments.
- Ability to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and construction tools.
